SentryKIDS version 16.7.3.1 is now available.

Version 16.7.3.1 offers enhancements to the fingerprinting portion of the software, to help provide cleaner fingerprints of children while utilizing the 64-bit compliant fingerprint scanner drivers.

The interface with the SentryKIDS Image Capture module is also enhanced to allow better control of webcams to capture the child’s photo. When using the SentryKIDS Image Capture module you are no longer required to use a TWAIN compliant webcam, almost any webcam is compatible with version 16.7.3.1 of the SentryKIDS child fingerprinting software.

The SentryKIDS® has been around for over 15 years, and in that time we believe we’ve developed one of the easiest to use fingerprint capture interface’s on the market today. With one single click you can automatically capture all 10 fingerprints in succession, starting with the right thumb and cycling through all the way to left little finger. With our easy to use fingerprint capture interface, you’ll be able to capture all 10 fingerprints in as fast as 10 seconds!

Plus, we give you the ability to easily review the magnified fingerprint image by clicking on the corresponding button beneath the fingerprint thumbnail; and if you need to retake any single fingerprint, simply click on the the fingerprint thumbnail itself and you will be prompted to place the appropriate finger back on the scanner to capture it again.

SentryKIDS fingerprinting software also gives you the ability to manipulate the thresholds of the fingerprint after you have captured it. After capturing the fingerprint you have the options of enhancing the brightness and/or the contrast to better show the ridges on fingerprints that were either too dark or too light upon capture. Be advised, you are not adding or removing information, but simply enhancing the fingerprint information that is already there. And if you don’t want to enhance the entire fingerprint, SentryKIDS gives you the ability to zoom in, pan left-to-right or up-and-down, and to enhance multiple individual areas as well. SentryKIDS FingerTIPS version 16.2 released!

Here at Sentry Technologies, LLC we are continually working to make child fingerprinting easier, faster and more efficient. SentryKIDS® FingerTIPS™ version 16.2 follows in this tradition.

Version 16.2 has eased the changing of Bio-Doc layouts by putting all of the built-in designs in a drop-down menu directly on the main screen. So 2 clicks is all you need to change your preferred child fingerprinting ID document layout!

Version 16.2 also has expanded on the Print Options menu, allowing the user to easily select whether or not he or she wishes to save a copy of the Bio-Doc™ to a CD and/or a USB drive (or any other physical drive connected to the computer). Simply check the appropriate box, then select the proper corresponding drive letter and a .pdf version of the Bio-Doc™ will automatically be written to the device of your choice!
